Chair Yoga News - Ayurveda Workshop in December

Dear Friends,


As we go into the holidays, some of you may be stressed, have joint stiffness and just need more energy and stamina, which chair yoga is a wonderful practice to help you achieve this. This gentle form of yoga is practiced sitting on a chair or using a chair for support during standing poses. Chair yoga is especially suitable for older adults, people with balance issues, disabilities, and is a great stress reliever through deep breathing practice. Chair yoga increases flexibility, lung capacity, circulation and strength.

CLASS DATES AND TIMES: Chair yoga classes will be in the gym room of Extreme Fitness in Onalaska. These classes will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays - 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

If you are a member of Extreme Fitness, classes are $3.00 per class. If you are not a member of Extreme Fitness, the class is $5.00. Be sure to speak to someone at the gym, as you may qualify for the Silver Sneakers program via your insurance.


We are the ONLY CHAIR YOGA IN POLK AND SURROUNDING COUNTIES and our prices are 1/2 the price of studios in Kingwood and the Woodlands.

AYURVEDA WORKSHOP: You are invited to attend an Ayurveda workshop, hosted by the Yoga & Pilates Vault, on Saturday, December 5th, 2020, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at the Sweat Shop in Livingston, Texas. Ayurveda involves an internal purification process, followed by a special diet, herbal remedies, massage therapy, yoga, and meditation. You will be receiving more information soon.
