2020 is Roaring into the Yoga and Wellness Vault with new classes, workshops and community events. Take a look at what's rolling out in January.

A new year is the perfect time of year to embrace eating a plant based diet and recovering from the holidays. From January 2nd through 21st, we will change the way that we eat and renew our relationship with food and ourselves. we will join together in a wheat-free, sugar-free, alcohol-free, caffeine-free vegan cleanse detox for 20 days in 2020. Join us Monday, December 30th at 10:30 am or 6:00 pm for a Q&A outlining details of the plan. If you join the fee is $20 and you will receive your 1st week's grocery list and meal plan, including recipes.

January 1, 2020 @ 6:00 PM. This 75-minute session of deep, relaxing guided meditation is designed to help you set an intention for life in 2020 by dropping into your inner wisdom to find your deepest, heartfelt desires for the New Year.
Yoga Nidra (Yoga Sleep) is the most profound relaxation I’ve ever experienced, but it’s more than Savasana or a great nap. It’s a specific, guided journey that takes you to a place of conscious relaxation–like that magical place just before you fall asleep. But this “nidra” is not like our nightly sleep. Slowing down the activity of the brain and relaxing the body through Yoga Nidra meditation seems to access the subconscious mind in a way that creates a perfect atmosphere to absorb and recalibrate long-held beliefs, ideas, goals, intentions.
This practice will begin with some gentle stretching and breathing techniques to prepare the mind and body for rest. You will then be guided through a Yoga Nidra session focusing on renewal and commitment for the New Year.
Singing Bowls and Essential Oils will be added to the practice. Cost $15.00

Beginning in January we host our first Drumming Circle. Drumming is a time-honored method of healing and helping others. Drum circles provide the opportunity for people of like mind to unite for the attainment of a shared objective. We have a tentative date and time on the January calendar (Saturday, 1/25/2020 @ 1:00 PM). Details of the event will be forthcoming.

The more we become aware of our breath, the more we are able to calm the mind and access and experience the bliss of our hearts through meditation. This class will teach us about the breath and various simple techniques to access the breath, quiet the mind and turn into the sublime radiance of our hearts. This class will also teach us how to meditate! We will review appropriate sitting postures for meditation. We will also explore what meditation is and what it is not. Suitable for all levels of students, Yin Yoga is a perfect compliment to dynamic & muscular (Yang) styles of yoga or exercise. Yin Yoga is a passive floor practice where poses are held for a longer period of time. Yin Yoga can be quite challenging mentally & physically. QiGong is the study and practice of cultivating vital life-force through various techniques, including: Breathing techniques, Postures, Meditations, Guided imagery. Qi means "breath" or "air" and is considered the "vital-life-force" or "life-force energy." Qigong practitioners believe that this vital-life-force penetrates and permeates everything in the universe. Gong means "work" or "effort" and is the commitment an individual puts into any practice or skill that requires time, patience, and repetition to perfect.
